The short version
We collect as little as we can. Everything comes from you, the parent: your child never creates an account or types anything. We never ask for your child's full name, photo, school or location, and we never sell your data or share it for advertising.
Who we are
Pluckett is responsible for the personal information described in this Privacy Note.
If you have a question about how we handle your information, or you'd like to ask us to delete it, you can contact us at hello@pluckett.com.
What we collect
- Your child's age and your answers to the check.
- Your answer to "what would make the biggest difference," including anything you type in the "Something else" box. Please don't include your child's full name or other personal details there.
- A nickname for your child, only if you choose to give one. It stays in your browser unless you send us your email.
- Your email address, only if you ask us to send you the challenge.
- How you found us (for example, which ad or link you came from).
- Basic page events, like "the check was started," with no names or emails attached.
Why we collect it
To show your child's next step, to email you the challenges you asked for, and to understand which parts of Pluckett work for parents and which don't.
How long we keep it
- If you finish the check but don't give us your email, your answers are deleted after 30 days. We keep a short summary with no link to you (the area you chose, your child's age band and how you found us) to understand what parents need overall.
- If you give us your email, we keep your details while you're taking part, and delete them whenever you ask.
- When you ask us to delete your data, we do it within 7 days.
Your browser
We save your progress and your child's nickname in your browser's session storage, so the check doesn't restart if you refresh the page. It clears when you close the tab. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Emails
Every email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribe anytime and we stop.
Your choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you and your child. Email hello@pluckett.com and we'll do it within 7 days. If you're not happy with how we handle your data, you can also contact your local data protection authority.
